Gülin ve Özlem'in Gelin Hamamı Kurabiyeleri / Bridal Shower Cookies of Gülin & Özlem

Ilk defa gelin hamamı konseptli kurabiyeler yapıyorum. Önce sabunlu, kovalı bir şeyler yapayim diye düşündüm ama cici kızlara cici kurabiyeler olsun istedim. Ben de cici renklerle isimlerinin olduğu çiçekli kurabiyeler tasarladim. Kurabiyesini biraz daha ağızda dağılan cinsten yaptim ki daha hafif olsun. Aldığım yorumlardan doğru bir seçim olduğu anlaşılıyor. Afiyetle yendi :)

I am baking bridal shower cookies for the fist time that would take place at Turkish Bath.  Fist I fought to design cookies with soap etc. but then changed my mind about baking sweet cookies for sweet brides. So, I prepared sweet coloured flower cookies with their name on. I wanted to have cookies that are more crisp and crumbling as a base to make it lighter. According to compliments I can understand that it was a good choice. They ate all with pleasure and as usual not even one remained.

Ayşem'in Doğum Günü / Ayşem's Birthday

Ayşem'in doğum günü için istediği doğum günü kurabiyeleri kendi gibi cici olsun istedim. Bir kurabiye yapacağımı biliyordu ancak nasıl bir kurabiye yapacağım süprizdi. Onun için de balonlu, pastel renkleri ve harfleri kullanarak sevimli bir doğum günü konsepti oluşurdum. Sonra da kurabiyeler afiyetle yendi.

For Ayşem, I wanted to prepare birthday cookies as nice as herself.  I promised her to bake some delicious cookies but she didn't know what kind of cookies she would get. For her, I designed a
cute birthday concept cookies having balloons from hearts and letters with pastel colours. Then all the cookies are gone in a minute and eaten with pleasure.

Karagöz Kardeşler ve Arnau için özel kurabiyeler / Special cookies for Karagöz Sisters and Arnau

Özel istek üzerine Esma, Fatma ve misafir Arnau için cici, çiçek temalı kurabiyeler hazırladım. Özel bir sunumla da bu kişiye özel lezzetleri paketledim. Elbette yaparken çok eğlendim ama benim için en güzel kısmı kurabiyeleri deneyip, gözlerindeki beğenmiş ve mutlu ifadeleriyle tarifini istedikleri andı :)

Over request, I prepared really nice cookies for Fatma, Esma and our guest Arnau with flower theme. And gave the cookies by packaging in a special design. Of course I enjoyed a lot while preparing but for me the best part was the moment they asked the recipe with a pleasure look and a smile on their face :)

Hazalcığımı ziyarete giderken ona küçük bir süpriz yapıp cici kurabiyeler hazırladım. Evli ve çiçekli olmak üzere tasarladığım iki büyük boy kurabiyenin yanında küçük kalpli ve çiçekli atıştırmalıklar herkesin beğenisini topladı ^^

I prepared some nice surprise cookies for Hazal when I went to visit her this summer. There were two big types of cookies, the ones with house or flowers on and  for snacks: small hearts and flowers. Happy to say that, all got the appreciation of whole family ^^

Hazalcığımın Doğumgünü Pastası/ My dear Hazal's Birthday Cake

Kurabiyelerden sonra neden pasta işine de girmiyorum dedim. Hazal'a özel bir pasta yapmak istedim. Uzun arayışlar sonucu çiçekli kurdeleli pastaya karar verdim. Nihan'ın katkıları, Aslı'nın krema tarifi sayesinde hem tadı hem de görüntüsü lezzetli bir pasta ortaya çıktı

After cookies, I asked myself why I am not trying cakes. I wanted to prepare something special for Hazal. I decided to bake a cake with flowers and a big ribbon pattern on, while I finished my competitive study. Thanks to Nihan's contribution and Aslı's cream recipe, we had a delicious cake as both look and taste.

Zerrinciğimin Doğum Günü Pastası/ My sweet Zerrin's Birthday Cake

Mutluluk ve gururla söyleyebilirim ki, Hazal'ın pastası çok övgü topladı. Ben de arayı soğutmadan Zerrin'in doğum günü için de özel bir pasta yaptım. Zerrin'in nergis anlamına da geldiğini bir Shakespeare sonesinden öğrenmiştik lisedeyken. O yüzden bir sürü nergisi olan bir pasta hazırladım bu sefer.

I can say with proud and happiness, Hazal's birthday cake got so many compliments. So, I prepared Zerrin's cake without giving a long break. While we were at high school,we learned from one of the Shakespeare's Sonnet that Zerrin means daffodils, also.  I wanted to prepare a cake having many daffodils on, this time.
